The first WEB DECK was created as a teaching tool to help educators teach concepts about food webs and food chains in the Chihuahuan Desert region.

However, we knew this game could be something bigger, and a part of a larger mission, to provide outreach regarding our nation's ecosystems.

In an age grappling with a loss in support of public lands, conservation, and AI threatening the work of artists, our mission is to depict ecosystems across the US using illustrations by an artist that knows or lives in that region and help bridge the growing gap between our communities and the ecosystems in their backyard.
